For those who enjoy getting close to nature WWT Calelaverock is the worlds largest Wetlands Centre and is open all year round.
Watch the daily feeding and spot deer’s, otters and red squirrels along the Galloway Forest Park & Red Kite Trail or enjoy the Wild Spring Festival with its many events and activities to choose from. (Takes place for two weeks in April)
It has never been easier to get outdoors and active. Choose from one of the many mountain bike tracks that are just a stones throw from the hotel or visit the Galloway Activity Centre for sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking on the beautiful banks of Loch Ken.
