Established as the region’s premier calendar entertainments event since 1979, the Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival is Scotland’s largest rural multi-art form festival, with more than 170 artists performing at 60 events in 30 venues across the full breadth of the region.

New added features will include mini Gym, business centre, and the introduction of Privilege rooms: The hotel’s restaurant & lobby bar will also be treated to a refurbishment increasing guest comfort and choice.

We like to take care of all our guests in style, and that includes our four legged friends who are very welcome at the Aston Hotel Sheffield.
At the Aston Hotel Sheffield every guest, including those who bark or squeak will experience our exceptional service and a warm Yorkshire welcome. If you need any advice on walks or places to take your pet, please just ask at Reception and they will be happy to help.
Your pet is welcome in your bedroom and bar area outside, however for obvious reasons they aren’t permitted in the bar or the restaurant. A small charge of £20.00 per pet, per stay in charged if you wish to bring your pet with you.
Paw policy: Well behaved, fully house trained dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. We kindly request £50 cleaning deposit to be left with reception at the check in which is refunded at the end of your stay provided there is no damage to the room. Please bring your own dog bed, food & water bowl and other pet supplies.
